The Spencer Rollins Deacon Jones Ford Lincoln Mercury Cause
Recently we heard from Captain Andy Rollins who gave us this update on his
son Spencer Rollins: “We received more good news last week at Duke. Spencer
needed to have a CT scan of his lungs
and
meet with infectious disease to determine the status of his fungus.
The doctor hadn’t even looked at the result when he gave us his evaluation
of Spencer. He said by this point he’d either be perfectly healthy,
struggling badly, or dead. Since he isn’t either one of the latter two the
doctor was happy to call him completely free of infection!
As I watched
them play I realized that Spencer was the only one without glasses, hearing
aids, a walker, or some other form of
assistance.
Trust me, if he had all of those things combined, I’d be perfectly content.
But how is it that he doesn’t have anything?! How is that possible
considering the seizures, the stroke and brain damage, the paralysis, the
blindness, the kidney failure, the liver stress, the G-tube, the dialysis,
the inability to eat or drink, the collapsed lung, the deadly invasive
fungus, etc…? Is that against all odds? Miraculous."
Many thanks to Scott Johnson and the staff of Deacon Jones Ford Lincoln Mercury for supporting the Spencer Rollins Campaign as a part of Broadcasting Hope. They were directly responsible for a significant financial gift that the Rollins family has shared with another family who has a need as well.
