The Dalton Wallace Family Deacon Jones Kia Cause
Dalton Wallace was born December 2, 1997, and lived a somewhat normal life
until at the age of 2 when a chest x-ray during a bout with pneumonia
revealed he had Cardiomyopathy. And as years passed Dalton wasn’t doing as
well as other children. So in 2003 through genetic testing his family
learned Dalton had Friedreich’s Ataxia, a degenerative neuromuscular
disease. This on top of diabetes, scoliosis, and his preexisting condition
was simply too much. On Thursday June 12, 2008 Dalton passed away at Duke
Hospital.
The Wallace Family is now faced with many issues. The home they’re living in
has a major mold issue, they have extensive financial losses due to the
inability to work and supporting Dalton while in the hospital, and they have
two other children that need help too.
